Hello, friend! Welcome to the second week of a new month, and in fact a new year. 2017 has arrived with incredible world events happening. I'll not get political, too much. There's a quote I love which is attributed to JFK, but it really originated with Hillel. It goes like this...

“If I am not for myself, who will be for me? But if I am only for myself, who am I? If not now, when?”

I love this quote. It can take on so many different meanings, and indeed the scholars have discussed for many generations the meaning and origin from this quote. For me, today, in the current world we're living, I think it's saying "take care of yourself", "stand up for yourself"! It could also just be a cry to action. So with a new year here, I'm guessing many of my readers have big plans for eating healthier, exercising more, volunteering regularly, giving back, focusing on new work goals and so on... if not now, when? It's 2017. Everyday is an opportunity to "do" what your personal call to action is! So I designed this month's wallpaper to give you a daily reminder to take care of you now! Work on your goals now! Be a better you, now!

Happy, happy holidays! Merry Christmas! Happy Chanukah! Or perhaps you're more of a "Festivus" fan? Whatever you like to celebrate this month, I do hope you have a lovely time. My family celebrates Chanukah and Christmas, so we'll be extra busy on December 25 since this year both holidays happen then. 

I have been in such a Christmasy mood this year! Last year I discovered a candle that I LOVE! It's by the company Illume, but it's sold exclusively at Barns & Nobles. The fragrance is "Cranberry Spice", it comes in a gold metal tin with a lovely red tartan design, and it smells SO good. It's not too sweet, nor too tart, but just right. I was thrilled when I saw it had returned this holiday season... so I purchased eight of them. Everyday, I bring my cup of Irish Breakfast into my studio, put on Christmas music, and light my favorite candle. It makes me feel so happy! Does anyone else have a scent that just makes them feel content and happy? I sure hope you all do, because this feeling is too good to have it be mine alone!

I've put together a Winter themed wallpaper for you to download. It's just a little reminder that "Today is a gift". It may sound cliche, but it's true. April 2016 Wallpaper

Hello, friends. I'm a tad bit behind on this month's wallpaper, but better late than never! Normally, here in the New England area, April means plenty of rain and the beginning of Spring! This year, however, it's been incredibly cold, quite windy, and instead of rain, we've had ice and snow. Winter really needs to get the hint, and move along! Hopefully, we see our April showers soon. Ideally, they arrive with warmer temperatures. 

I hope you enjoy this month's wallpaper. It features a classic Easton Place sketch from one of my earliest greeting cards, but I love it just as much today. In fact, the wellies were inspiration for my current logo.
